Perfect blend for the cool season food plot planting.  This mixture contains 75% purple top turnips and 25% red clover. The clover will provide an initial draw to the wildlife while other food sources are available in the area and before the first frost.  Following the first frost, the clover will become less attractive but the sugars will move into the turnip tops.  For the remainder of the season the turnips will be topped and dug for full draw feedings.
Turnips are a Brassica and provide excellent fall forage that continues to increase as the weather cools and sugar content increases.  These are easy to plant seeds and are great for late season hunting plots.
Clover is a high protein year-round legume that can last up to five years if properly managed.  It is a great attractant for sustaining a population and provides great nutrition.  Best for pre-frost hunting plots.
